A new course, “Variable Refrigerant Flow System Design & Application,” is one of 11 offerings in ASHRAE’s Spring Online Course series. The course, scheduled for May 16, provides non-manufacturer-specific concepts on how to apply VRF systems to buildings.

ABCO HVACR Supply + Solutions announced that its ABCO Expo 2016 will be held March 9, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Terrace on the Park in Flushing, New York. In addition to HVAC and refrigeration professionals, the show is also open to developers, builders, and students.

An Indiana Bryant dealer’s equipment donation to a local training institute will help ensure that the next generation of HVAC technicians is familiar with the latest energy-efficient technology. Chapman Heating and Air Conditioning donated a Bryant multi-head ductless split to the Midwest Technical Institute (MTI) in Brownsburg, Indiana.

Since the Rees Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2003, it has awarded approximately $440,000 in scholarships to more than 250 deserving students and instructors.
