Efforts like the ‘Ride and Decide’ program in Tennessee are providing a much needed bridge between high school students and rewarding careers they may not have otherwise known were available.

ACCA members came from around the country to learn office operational management strategies. The event, which was presented by ACCA and The NEWS, was immediately preceded by the Service Managers Forum, capping off a four-day gathering of ACCA managers across multiple disciplines.

More than 50 free sessions will be offered, covering topics ranging from how to commission an economizer to cyber security measures for intelligent buildings to the latest advancements in China’s IAQ market. Attendees may participate in all AHR Expo-sponsored sessions, ASHRAE’s Design Build Track, and sessions hosted by endorsing associations and industry groups at no additional cost.

Kory Johnson has excelled in keeping USU’s critical heating and cooling systems in peak operating condition since he was hired seven years ago. He is known for his technical abilities, willingness to help others, and strong work ethic.

Record attendance at the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) in Bonita Springs, Florida, may have been helped by the warm weather destination, but was perhaps due more to the growth in membership and the proliferation of legislative activity that concerns members.
