The Next Generation Copeland Scroll variable-speed compressor line from Emerson Climate Technologies was named the Product of the Year during the Innovation award ceremonies at the 2014 AHR Expo in New York City.

The Ecoline reciprocating compressor series has expanded from use with R-134a to other refrigerants — R-404A, R-407A, R-407C, R-407F, and R-507A. 

The 10 category winners of the 2014 AHR Expo Innovation Awards came together to see which product would be selected as the overall winner of the 2014 AHR Expo Product of the Year Award and Emerson Climate Technologies emerged as this year’s winner.

Bristol Compressors International Inc. and Torad Engineering LLC have entered into a joint agreement for the development and commercialization of Torad’s patented spool compressor technology for residential and light commercial air conditioning applications.
