Reliability and compactness make the LLZ scroll compressors an efficient-by-design solution for the cold chain, the company said. The compressors extend the existing MLZ range for medium-temperature applications. Four models are now available with features such as compactness and optional vapor injection. The range provides a cooling capacity from 2.7-7 kW (4-10 hp) as a standard and from 3.9-9.9 kW with the economizer kit — vapor injection — with R-404A refrigerant. According to the manufacturer, LLZ compressors are an excellent option for refrigeration applications in low temperatures for cold rooms, ice makers, and cold storage spaces in mini-markets/supermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores, etc.
