Award winners were selected by a panel of third-party ASHRAE member judges who evaluated each product entry based on its innovative design, creativity, application, value, and market impact.
PAL currently serves more than 2,800 children annually through programs such as its Youth Summer Camp, Youth Athletic Leagues, and After School Tutoring Programs. The strength of the program’s leadership in conjunction with the dedication of the Atlanta Police Department provides a strong youth crime prevention initiative by building positive relationships through educational activities.

Each year, products in 10 different categories are recognized for being some of the HVACR industry’s most innovative products, systems, and technologies. Winners will be featured at the AHR Expo in Atlanta in January 2019.
WESTPORT, Conn. — The AHR announced its call for entries for the 2019 Innovation Awards Competition. This annual competition honors the most inventive and original products, systems, and technologies showcased at each year’s expo.
CHICAGO – The AHR Expo show managers announced Danfoss the winner of its 2018 Product of the Year during a presentation of its annual Innovation Awards. The presentation awarded the Innovation Award winners in each of the 10 categories: building automation, cooling, green building, heating, indoor air quality, plumbing, refrigeration, software, tools and instruments, and ventilation. Danfoss’s Turbocor® TTH/TGH High Lift Compressor was the winner in the Green Building category.
