International Exposition Co. has announced the winners of the 2016 Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) Innovation Awards. The annual awards competition honors the most inventive and original HVACR products, systems, and technologies showcased at each year’s AHR Expo.

The International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Expo (AHR Expo) announced its call for entries for the 2016 AHR Expo Innovation Awards. The awards will be presented at a formal ceremony during the show, set for Jan. 25-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

enVerid Systems announced that it has received Frost & Sullivan’s 2015 North American HVAC Technology Innovation Award for its HVAC Load Reduction (HLR) solution. Frost & Sullivan recognized enVerid’s HLR system for its ability to deliver substantial energy savings by solving a major cause of HVAC energy waste in commercial buildings.

At the 2015 AHR Expo Innovation Awards ceremonies on Jan. 27, Danfoss’ Turbocor VTT Series compressor was selected as winner of the 2015 Product of the Year. The new Danfoss compressor was chosen as the top product from among the Innovation Award winners in 10 HVACR product categories.

AHR Expo management announced that Metropolitan Family Services, the Chicago area’s longest serving human services agency, has been selected as the recipient of the 2015 AHR Expo Innovation Awards entry fees donation.
