The Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation donated $5,000 to sponsor Team USA in the upcoming WorldSkills Foundation Water Innovation Challenge supported by the World Plumbing Council.

The PHCC Educational Foundation will host the second annual HVAC Apprentice Contest, Oct. 8-9 in New Orleans.

This class covers the fundamentals of steam and steam utilization throughout the entire steam and condensate loop, including generation, distribution, utilization, and recovery. 

Noritz America has announced the release of its Online Residential Level 1 (R1) tankless water heater training for plumbing and HVAC contractors. The company said the Noritz University course will supplement personal training by Noritz sales personnel.

This webinar will help contractors decipher fact from fiction when it comes to R-22. 

Although women account for only 2 percent of the apprenticeship attendance across the country, the numbers are improving.

The accreditation period extends for five years and includes all programs offered or created during that time. 

The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded BNP Media, parent company of The NEWS, its authorized provider accreditation. IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET continuing education units (CEUs).

RSES and TruTech Tools Ltd. have announced a new awards program to encourage RSES members to pursue additional education and training in HVACR by earning the RSES Certificate Member (CM) and Certificate Member Specialist (CMS) designations.

The nomination process is open to anyone who has seen firsthand the work an instructor or trainer has done to better the industry.
