TROY, Mich. — The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded BNP Media its prestigious authorized provider accreditation. IACET authorized providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET continuing education units (CEUs). The accreditation period extends for five years and includes all programs offered or created during that time.

“BNP Media’s new partnership with IACET is a demonstration of the company’s commitment to lifelong learning and high standards for all of our programs,” said Michelle Hucal, director of content deployment.

IACET CEUs are transferrable and recognized by a wide range of organizations in almost every industry served by BNP Media’s brands, including professional associations, regulatory boards, state boards, corporations, and universities.

BNP Media currently offers a variety of webinars, live events, distance learning classes, and articles to the audiences of multiple BNP Media brands through CE Campus (www.thececampus.com). BNP Media will also continue to offer CEUs to the AEC community as an American Institute of Architects (AIA) and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) education provider.

“We are proud of our high-quality educational programs that currently train more than 12,300 architects, engineers, contractors, security professionals, building contractors, and other professionals each year on important topics through a variety of formats within our CE Campus platform,” Hucal said. “By meeting the IACET standards as an authorized provider, we will be able to offer even more educational opportunities in more of the industries we serve.”

BNP Media completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs to achieve the accreditation. The company has pledged its continued compliance with the standard, and is now authorized to use the IACET name and authorized provider logo on promotional course materials. In addition, BNP Media is now linked to the IACET website and is recognized as offering the highest quality continuing education and training programs.

“We are pleased to establish our relationship with BNP Media as an authorized provider,” said Kristopher J. Newbauer, president of IACET and director of learning and organization development at Rotary Intl., Evanston, Illinois. “BNP Media joins nearly 650 organizations around the globe that have had their programs vetted by third-party experts in continuing education to ensure the highest possible standards are met.”
