Emerson Climate Technologies announced it is moving forward with plans to develop a new $35 million innovation center on the University of Dayton campus in Dayton, Ohio, to advance research and education for the global HVACR industry.

Each winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship, hilmor tools, and a trip to the 2015 AHR Expo in Chicago. 

This new, self-paced, online course covers the unique operating characteristics of several wood-fired boilers and goes on to show several examples of complete systems for both residential and commercial/institutional applications. 

If energy productivity doubles in the next 15 years, Americans could save $327 billion by the year 2030. 

Instruction has progressed toward a myriad of technologies, many times in conjunction with each other, to teach students and techs, whether the instructors and students are in the same room or not. 

Organizational leaders need to quickly start asking themselves one simple question, “Where do we find a supply of good talent?” 

Following its inaugural year success, hilmor announced that it is bringing back its Retool Your Future scholarship program. Designed to help current and future HVACR students get professional tools in their hands before entering the industry, the scholarship contest will now award six grand prizes, twice as many as last year. 

The idea is that the school will be motivated to better prepare students for careers where they are truly needed and can earn a livable income.

The Road Show’s educational program featured more than 13 hours of managerial and technical classes with plenty of opportunities to earn NATE and NORA continuing education units.

Continuing education for salespeople is important, just like it is for installers and service technicians.
