Netop has announced that its solution for secure remote access to devices – SecureM2M – is available in both software and hardware formats. According to the company, SecureM2M enables easy-to-deploy secure entry into building automation, HVAC, industrial controls, and other systems.

Nortek Inc., a global diversified manufacturer of heating and cooling products, ventilation products, and more, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the HVAC business of Thomas & Betts Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of ABB.
