A new report, Global Smart Buildings Forecast 2013-2018, which presents the state of the market, drivers for technology adoption, and the business value generated by developing smart buildings, has been released by IDC Energy Insights.

MacroAir will end its manufacturing relationship with 4Front Industries by granting the company a license to manufacture its own line of high volume, low speed (HVLS) fans under the Kelley and Serco brands. As part of the agreement, MacroAir will also stop manufacturing HVLS fans on behalf of Kelley and Serco.

Recent laboratory testing showed the Nest Wave feature, which enables the user to turn off the alarm with “a wave of the hand,” could be “unintentionally activated."
