Move Significantly Expands NRG’s Residential Solar Business, Complements Existing Network of Installers

NRG Energy Inc. has announced the acquisition of Roof Diagnostics Solar (RDS), to support and expand the company’s residential solar business. NRG said RDS will complement its network of independent solar installers and dealers and significantly increase its ability to meet the growing demand for residential solar.
The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has joined the ruckus over questions about the importation of HFC-134a refrigerant from China. On April 14 the federal agency released what it calls a “preliminary Countervailing Duty Determination (CVD).”

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) announced that its HVAC Business Partners program has more than doubled its 2013 project goal for implementing the national ANSI/ASHRAE/ACCA Standard 180 for Quality Maintenance (Standard 180 for QM).

Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) has expanded its corporate headquarters with the opening of a 13,600-square-foot office facility for sales and administrative staff. Consumer Favorability Has Rebounded After Several Years of Decline
