PRINCETON, N.J. — NRG Energy Inc. has announced the acquisition of Roof Diagnostics Solar (RDS), to support and expand the company’s residential solar business. NRG said RDS will complement its network of independent solar installers and dealers and significantly increase the ability of NRG to meet the growing demand for residential solar services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
