The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced that Skip Snyder has passed away after a 13 year battle with cancer. Snyder was chairman of ACCA in 2004 – 2005. He was also chairman of North American Technician Excellence (NATE) from 2000 to 2003.
The Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI), a standards development and credentialing organization for residential energy efficiency upgrade work, and Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced they will begin exploring opportunities for collaboration.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced that its Contractor Comfort Index (CCI) for September was 67, up from 66 in August, indicating that HVAC contractors’ outlook on short-term growth is continuing to be strongly positive.
