ACCA Picks Safety Excellence Award Winners
Award Recognizes HVAC Companies that Place Safety First
ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) awarded three companies with the 2013 Safety Excellence award, sponsored by Federated Insurance, a company that provides businesses with risk management tools and resources.
Winning in the category of 50 or more employees was Entek Corp., Longview, Wash., followed by Energy Management Specialists Inc., Cleveland, in the 11-49 employee category. New Balance A/C Inc., Houston, won in the 10 or fewer employees category.
“ACCA appreciates Federated’s continued assistance in promoting safety in HVACR workplaces. We congratulate the winners and all of our Safety Excellence award applicants for their commitment to safety,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president & CEO. “These companies are leaders in our industry in setting a high standard for excellence.”
ACCA’s Safety Excellence award reinforces an employer’s commitment to employees and the local community, and serves as a strong recruitment tool for potential employees.
