LG Electronics held its 2017 Partner Appreciation Event during the AHR Expo. The guest speaker, Andre Borschberg, CEO, co-founder, and pilot of Solar Impulse, talked about the challenges of designing a long-range solar-powered aircraft, which he eventually flew around the world.

Taco Comfort Systems’ booth was among the busiest on the AHR Expo’s opening day. The Taco staff kicked off the event with a press conference that showcased a number of new products and leadership.

The Air Movement Control Association International (AMCA) opened the 2017 AHR Expo in Las Vegas by celebrating and recognizing the great strides that have been made by the association over the past century, while also keeping an eye on the future.

Bowling, food, and refreshments were on the agenda Sunday night as The Whalen Company held an event at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas.Whalen vice president of sales and marketing Tony Landers was looking forward to talking with contractors both at the event and on the show floor.

Who doesn’t like to come to Vegas and play some golf. Emerson was thinking exactly that when they hosted their Sunday evening AHR event at Top Golf at MGM. Attendees enjoyed food and drink while working on their handicap at this well-attended event.

The Air Movement and Control Association Intl. Inc. (AMCA Intl.) is sad to announce the passing of Gary Benson, retired president of Mechanovent Corp., who received the 2013 Distinguished Service Award.
