Emerson Climate Technologies Inc. has announced the release of a new eBook to provide helpful information to HVAC contractors and facility managers on the value and impact of compressor modulation. The publication is titled “Understanding Compressor Modulation in Air Conditioning Applications.”
The function of an oil reservoir, commonly known as an oil trap, is to prevent large oil slugs from forming. This is accomplished by trapping a small amount of oil in the reservoir or trap and gradually returning it to the compressor.
