Carrier Corp. will supply approximately 40,000 ComfortChoice^® thermostats to Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) for its SmartHours^® program. 

The Carrier ChillerVu plant control system is able to control Carrier 19, 23, or 30 series chillers (air- or water-cooled) and includes full integration capabilities, allowing it to monitor and control other equipment in the chiller plant, including non-Carrier chillers.

Two years after Carrier entered into an agreement with EOS Climate Inc. to ensure responsible end-of-life management of used refrigerants, the program has prevented 111,000 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions, equivalent to removing 23,000 passenger vehicles from the road for a year.

Carrier was recently allocated a $5.1 million Qualifying Advanced Energy Project tax credit (Project Credit) to expand production at its Indianapolis facility to meet increasing demand for its high-efficiency gas furnace line.
