Partnership Will Provide Smart Guest Room Control and Energy Savings

Trane, a brand of Ingersoll Rand, has announced a new agreement with Telkonet Inc., a manufacturer of hotel guest room thermostats and controls. Through this agreement Trane will now use the Telkonet EcoSmart™ platform to offer the hotel and hospitality industry additional HVAC and comfort system options that benefit hotel guests.
The challenge presented by Neema Hospitality, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, was that the company wanted to maximize energy efficiency while maintaining guest comfort and loyalty, improve profitability without increasing room rates, and augment operational efficiency with remote monitoring capability.
