This new clip-on temperature sensor assembly is designed for those applications where ease of installation is important and there is a need for the sensor to have good thermal contact with a copper tube, the company says. The design consists of the sensing element, radiused housing, lead wires, and specially designed metal clip. The primary purpose of the clip is to allow for easy installation. Also, because the housing is held closely to the tube, it enables the sensing element to react quickly to any changes in the temperature of the tube, says the company.
