Advanced Thermal Products, Inc.: TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The company has introduced a new moisture-resistant design for thermistor temperature sensors. Many temperature sensing applications in hvacr require that the sensor be mounted in or near areas that are subject to freeze/thaw cycles. In the past, this has led to field failure problems due to the fact that seals would fail and moisture from the environment would enter the sensor. This new design provides a moisture seal between all parts of the system that deters water from entering the assembly and protects the thermistor sensing element, says the company.
