Employees entered 126 nominations this year after the search for the 2019 Best Contractor to Work For began last September. Now in its 21st year, this competition looks to highlight what makes contractors stand out from their peers. The ACHR NEWS is proud to set these four contractors above the rest as examples of what it takes to be labeled the Best Contractor to Work For.
We narrowed the field of candidates with computer-tabulated scores that leveled the playing field for large and small contractors alike. Finalists were further considered as we studied their websites and the Better Business Bureau. These four stood the test — and it wasn’t just their devotion to solid wages and benefits that placed them in the forefront. It wasn’t the size of the company that added to the tabulations, either. This year’s winners are committed to their employees and their customers with the goal of making the HVACR industry a better place. They continually train, recruit, and participate in this proud trade.
“Our search for the best contractors yielded a large field of top candidates, and although there are many to choose from, these four are what others should consider the best of the best,” said Kyle Gargaro, editorial director for The ACHR NEWS. “It is our privilege to honor them, and we look forward to seeing continued growth from each winner.”
Here are those four HVAC contractors, selected from four regions spanning the U.S. and Canada.
