Rebel with Energy Recovery Wheel

The Daikin McQuay Rebel with an Energy Recovery Option is an energy efficient rooftop unit. The energy recovery wheel recovers approximately 75 percent of energy from the exhaust air stream. As the wheel rotates, outside air is drawn across one-half of the wheel while exhaust air is drawn across the other half, transferring sensible and latent energy between the ventilation and exhaust air streams. It exceeds ASHRAE Standard 90.1 requirements for energy recovery. Offered as a one-piece, factory-installed and tested package, it eliminates field coordination and leakage problems that can be associated with field installation.
