Upright Snips® have right-angle blades that make cutting easier in tight spaces and over head, says the company. They have the capacity to cut 24-gauge cold-rolled sheet metal and 28-gauge stainless steel sheet metal. The cutting length (capacity) is 1-1/4 inches (31.8 mm). Both left (P6900-L) and right (P6900-R) models are available. They were designed in cooperation with and using the test results from the study of aviation snip design funded by the National Institute For Occupational Safety and Health, which was published in the February 2007 issue of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene.
