Home » Midwest Tool and Cutlery Co.: Aviation Snips
The Uprightâ„¢ Snips are compound leverage aviation snips. Available in both left- and right-cutting models, the tool incorporates a right-angle handle-to-blade design. According to the manufacturer, the handle-to-blade design has a unique push or pull cutting motion, the ability to turn or rotate the tool in the hand while cutting circles, and improved ergonomics. The Upright Snips are rated to cut 24-gauge sheet metal and 26-gauge stainless steel. Features include forged molybdenum steel blades, a threaded center pivot bolt designed to keep blades in adjustment, heavy-duty double overwind spring, and handles with a 5-1/2-inch spread.
