Davis-Houk Mechanical, a union shop rooted in Coles County, has landed the full design-build contract for the retailer’s new three-building Store Support Center, now under construction and slated for completion by 2028.

Daikin has redesigned the VRV Emerion systems to reduce installation and commissioning times, expand heating and cooling operations, improve energy savings, simplify maintenance, and expand monitoring capabilities.

Thanks to a push from manufacturers and utility companies, heat pump technology gained traction in the ‘50s, ultimately re-shaping the HVAC industry. 

“We are thrilled to report on the success of our patented liquid desiccant HVAC solution; it is ideal for commercial spaces that require cool, fresh, and dehumidified air,” said Aaron Meles, vice president of product at Mojave Energy Systems.

The global commercial HVAC market is set to grow rapidly, reaching $136.45 billion by 2031, driven by rising construction projects, stricter energy regulations, and increasing demand for smart, climate-friendly systems amid unpredictable weather patterns.

Mojave Energy Systems announced that it has been granted its seventh patent covering the technology for its groundbreaking commercial liquid desiccant air conditioning system.

“Adding these established, highly respected, and experienced firms to our sales program greatly expands our reach across key markets,” said Kyle Troskot, sales director at Mojave.
