Carrier distributors nationwide have announced the recipients of their annual college scholarship, and awarded grants this year totaling nearly $40,000. Carrier is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
The Clifford H. “Ted” Rees Jr. Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), has announced the award of $44,500 in scholarship funds to 26 students studying to become technicians in the HVACR and water heating industry.
