Rheem Canada has consolidated the operations of its three business units - Heating and Cooling, Water Heating, and Swimming Pool Heaters and Boilers marketed under the Rheem, Ruud, Raypak and WeatherKing labels - into a single headquarters and distribution center in Brampton, Ontario, a Toronto suburb.
According to a report from the National Research Council of Canada, on average Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-certified buildings used 18-39 percent less energy per floor area than conventional buildings. However, 28-35 percent of LEED buildings used more energy than conventional buildings.
