The Solar Expansion Sits Atop a 58,575-Square-Foot Store Extension Completed Last Summer

IKEA has officially plugged-in an expanded solar energy array atop its Boston-area store that opened nine years ago in Stoughton, Massachusetts. The 51,516-square-foot solar panel addition consists of a 318-kW system built with 1,248 panels, and will produce 385,900 kWh more electricity annually for the store.

Airtron Canada announced that it has been selected to perform HVAC and building automation systems (BAS) maintenance services for more than 600 Ontario government buildings. That translates into 21 million square feet of facilities in buildings such as office buildings, laboratories, and correctional facilities.
