Increasing energy bills have spurred homeowners and businesses to search for cost effective ways to improve the efficiency of their existing HVAC systems. With the new GreenFan® device, offered by Super Cool Energy Solutions, homeowners and businesses can save up to 15 percent on their electric bill with minimal investment, said the company.
US Ecology and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Mercury Collection Project announced the collection and recycling of 665 pounds of mercury in 2014. This was a 210 percent increase over 2013.
