Members
of WIT & Co., a buying group comprised of independent plumbing, heating,
and cooling distributors, recently convened in Phoenix for their annual Fall
Networking Meeting. What transpired at this meeting?
"We believe the WinWholesale business model is unique
in the wholesaling industry," said Rick Schwartz, CEO and chairman,
WinWholesale. What is this successful model that WinWholesale operates on?
"We

an HVACR distributor play a role in creating demand for the products they stock
and sell? If so, what exact role do they play, and what best-practice measures

I am honored to be HARDI's president, following in the
footsteps of the association's great leaders and becoming the third generation
from G.W. Berkheimer to serve the industry. The 2012 Annual Conference was a
true success and a wonderful setting to inaugurate my leadership with HARDI.
At the close of HARDI's 2012 annual conference, Brian Cobble
accepted the position and became the latest president to lead the association.
Cobble is the president of G.W. Berkheimer Co. Inc. in Portage, Ind., and the
company's involvement with HARDI over the years was a catalyst to his
acceptance of the new association position.
From the first-timer session to the closing ceremonies,
HARDI's 2012 Annual Conference united its membership under one theme,
"Develop Demand, Success is Deliberate." The four days of activity,
sandwiched in between the opening and closing, focused on preparing
distributors for what possibly lies ahead through education, networking, and
more.
