Taco’s Viridian pump line makes its first appearance at the 2012 AHR Expo in Chicago. The wet-rotor pump with an ECM motor offers an 80 percent decrease in energy consumption compared to a standard commercial pump of the same size, the company says.
Software P-Library allows anyone to develop pump curves for any centrifugal pump. The program creates a file that can be used in the Pump-Flo selection and Pipe-Flo system design software. A pump that might not be available through the downloadable Pump-Flo catalogs can be graphed and saved as a digital file.
Variable-speed solar pumps have been added to the 00® family of circulators. The pumps are designed to match solar collector output, to increase solar system performance by 20 percent.
The TA Series split case pumps are now available with performance from 60-6,000 gpm. The modular construction of the pumps provides for the use of multiple seal options, and is ideal for application flexibility and simplified maintenance, the company says.
