The Fastest Growing Companies List was created to honor businesses in the Fort Worth area that have made significant contributions to their local economy and have seen unprecedented growth over the last three years.

Winsupply Inc. has named its 2018 Vendors of the Year in their respective product categories. The Winsupply Preferred Vendors that won in each category were chosen based on several criteria, the most important of which was being a leader in growing the segment's business over the past year. They were also judged on selling to a breadth of locations that buy the vendor’s product, providing strong support at the local level, and consistent volume and growth.

J & H Controls received the 2018 Growth Award from Cylon Auto-Matrix at the ASHRAE Show in Atlanta, which took place January 2018.  Mark Hawley, president of J & H Controls, accepted the award from Kelle Donohue, Cylon Auto-Matrix director of Sales-Americas.

An HVAC solution was the headliner for an event on Feb. 19 at a 121-year-old building in the nation’s capital named after one of America’s greatest composer-musicians. The event at Duke Ellington School of the Arts demonstrated how stepping beyond traditional non-inverter HVAC systems can preserve a building’s historical architecture, enhance energy efficiencies, minimize noise, and earn design-award accolades.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced Del-Air Mechanical of Knoxville, Tennessee, as the ACCA 2019 Commercial Contractor of the Year. Each year, ACCA’s Contractor of the Year award is presented to a contracting company that demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to contractor excellence. Finalists are judged on a range of qualities including community involvement, industry involvement, and a commitment to training and certifications.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced Hoffmann Brothers Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, and Electrical Company of Brentwood, Missouri as the ACCA 2019 Residential Contractor of the Year. ACCA’s Contractor of the Year award is presented each year, and finalists are judged on a range of qualities including community involvement, industry involvement, and a commitment to training and certifications.

Dewberry recently took home two merit awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia for its work at the University of Virginia, as well as for the widening project along I-64 in Newport News.

Cambridge Engineering announced that two representatives, HVAC Commercial Solutions (Mid Atlantic), and John McGraw (Michigan) achieved their coveted “platinum” distinction, selling more than $2,000,000 in Cambridge equipment during 2018.
