AMSCO Supply, a family owned company, will continue to operate under its own brand in both distribution and marketing.

Under the agreement, Presidential Heating & Air Conditioning will continue to operate under its current name and branding. Southern Home Services said it’s committed to retaining all current Presidential employees.

Under the deal, the Lennox commercial HVACR businesses, which are headquartered in France, would be sold to funds managed by Syntagma Capital.

“The acquisition of California Economizer and its Zonex Systems brings together the two oldest manufacturers of zoning dampers and zone-control systems,” said Dick Foster, the president of Zonefirst and its parent company, Trolex Corp.

Founded in 1964, Gateway Supply has annual sales of approximately $180 million and serves approximately 4,000 customers from 15 locations in South Carolina and one location in North Carolina.

The addition of Gervais Mechanical to HGH’s portfolio of home-services brands, which stretches from New England to Florida and west to Texas, is the 33rd partnership in the last 36 months.

Together, Bruce Supply Corp, The Kennedy Companies, and S.G. Torrice generate annualized revenues of approximately $450 million. All three acquisitions closed in the fourth quarter of the Ferguson fiscal year that ended July 31.

The acquisition expands the CoolSys offerings and strengthens its market presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, the company said.
