Solar Power System Goes Online In Arizona

A new, larger solar electric system has gone online in Arizona. Tucson Electric Power Company expanded its solar power installation near Springerville to 1.4 MW. The utility recently commissioned the expanded system and plans to further expand the solar power system to 2.4 MW during 2002.
