With a home page that links homeowners, dealers and distributors, engineers, and business-to-business customers to four new areas created to meet their very specific needs, the redesigned site provides visitors with direct and easy-to-navigate paths to useful information, said the company. Homeowners, for example, will find seasonal promotions, maintenance tips, a glossary, and an FAQ section, in addition to detailed product information, financing options, warranty information, and access to online product registration capabilities.
"At York, we realize that today's consumers are carefully researching their options as they consider purchasing decisions," said Doug Widenmann, York brand marketing director. "They are going to the Internet in greater numbers to gather information and educate themselves before they make a purchase. We want to assist them by providing them with the information they seek on home comfort systems and how those systems fit in the context of their homes."
Dealers and distributors who visit the new Web site will be introduced to the resources available to York dealers, including descriptions of the Libertiesâ„¢ program; advertising support; and a variety of e-business tools, such as the Business Analyzer, Build-A-Brochureâ„¢ and Ad Plannerâ„¢. A distributor locator directs visitors to the nearest York dealers within a selected radius. Both press releases and downloadable technical literature are available through the dealer and distributor section.
