ORLANDO, Fla. - Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) Facilities Management has been awarded the Integrated Comfort Systems (ICS) award presented by Trane Orlando. The award was given in recognition of excellence for implementing the ICS system in Freedom High School, Orlando, Fla.
The ICS system combines Trane heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment with factory-mounted unit controls plus a building automation system into one unified system.
Pat Herron, chief facilities officer, received the recognition award on behalf of Orange County Public Schools and Freedom High School. Coastal Mechanical was the mechanical contractor for the project.
