Accident At Contracting Firm Claims Life Of 6-Year-Old

LEONI TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A girl, age 6, died after she was run over by a forklift that was being driven by her 10-year-old brother at Lindsay Heating & Cooling on Sunday, August 17.
Arika Hamilton was transported to a local hospital after the incident, but she later passed away.
The two children were with their mother's boyfriend, who owns the HVAC contracting firm, according to area police. The mother was not at the business when the accident occurred.
Officials said an investigation into the death is ongoing.
