The convertible airflow discharge design allows the heat pump to be installed in either horizontal or downflow applications. According to the company, the heat pump operates at the same rated external static pressure in the downshot or horizontal duct position and can be installed at ground level or on a rooftop. The unit's features include a scroll compressor, externally mounted gauge ports, thermostatic expansion valves for refrigerant metering, and a coil guard. Integral base rails with forklift access and holes for lifting lugs provide a stronger unit base and simplify handling at the jobsite and at the distributor warehouse, states the manufacturer. The heat pump comes with a 10-year compressor limited warranty and a five-year parts limited warranty.
