The SmartComfortâ„¢ 2200 Series split system heat pumps now feature a new, thicker fin coil, which offers aesthetic improvement as well as helps prevent accidental damage in transporting and handling, the company says. The heat pumps provide efficiencies of 12 SEER and 8.6 HSPF. They are available in 1.5- to 5-ton capacities. Features include heat pump discharge mufflers, two-speed fan motors, scroll compressors, and prepainted condenser fins. The full-service control panel is easy to access, the slanted easy-to-view control panel allows technicians to see all electrical connections while standing up, and a quick-opening compressor compartment opens by removing four screws, states the manufacturer.
