ARLINGTON, VA — The Board of Trustees of North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Inc., a leading certification program for technicians in the HVACR industry, announced certification test sales were running almost 100% ahead of last year’s pace.

NATE board members recently met in Washington, DC, for a semi-annual meeting. NATE Board Chairman Skip Snyder, president of Snyder Company, announced passing rates for the certification test were running at 66.6%.

The board also approved two new members: Scott Boxer, president, Lennox Industries Inc., and John Conrad, publisher of The News.
