The Raynger IP is a handheld probe and cable with standard miniature thermocouple connector. It can be plugged directly into thermocouple meters, dataloggers, or chart recorders. Designed with a –18° to 260°C temperature range, the unit operates for up to 50 hours on a single 9-V battery and features automatic shutoff, says the company. Available in two models, J or K, the closer the target, the smaller the size of the area measured æ as small as 2.5 mm (0.1 in.) in diameter, the company says.
