The Eurotron IRtec P500 noncontact infrared ther-mometer has a measuring range of –30° to 930°C. The unit features optional programmable alarms and optional auxiliary input for thermocouple types K and S. With no focusing required, bidirectional digital interface, single- or twin-laser target pinpointing, and operation using either rechargeable or alkaline batteries, the unit is accurate and easy to use, says the company. Accuracy provided is ±1%. Spectral response is 8 to 14 µm.
