The Model MIR1 mini infrared thermometer is a compact instrument that features a 6:1 distance-to-target ratio, laser sighting for accuracy, 3-digit display of selectable °F or °C, display hold, and an LCD display backlight, the company says. The unit’s wide temperature range extends from 0° to 600°F (-20° to 315°C). Ambient operating temperature is 32° to 122°F (0° to 50°C). Accuracy is ±2% of reading or ±4°F (±2°C), whichever is greater. Resolution is 1°C/F. Response time is about half a second, says the company.
