Workhorse Custom Chassis: STAND-UP CARGO VAN
The Workhorse FT1061 step van features a 125-in. wheelbase and a 10-ft, 6-in. loadspace.
By adding a shorter wheelbase model to its semi-custom step van program, the company says it brings the advantages of its step van to those firms that have previously operated cargo vans. Most significantly, the loadspace provides a 76-in. ceiling height, more than enough for a 6-ft-tall driver to access the cargo area standing up, says the company. Also, with nearly 68 sq ft of floor space, it holds more than the 58 sq ft found in the longest cargo vans, the manufacturer says.
