Associations for the Week: Vac System Industries, The Air Conditioning Contractors Association (ACCA), WW Clean Duct,

Vac System Industries (Apple Valley, MN) announces a new benefit for all WW Clean Duct members. To receive this 5% discount on any purchase of equipment, products, or software, members must be current on all existing invoices (nothing past due), and must pay via credit card or prepay with a company check. Acccepted credit cards include MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.

The Air Conditioning Contractors Association (ACCA) members can now join ACCA Safety Masters Club, a program that recognizes ACCA contractors who have made a significant commitment to safety by establishing safety programs for their employees. As a benefit of membership, the members’ company may compete in ACCA’s Safety Awards Program at ACCA’s 32nd Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV. Winners will receive the following cash prizes and honors:

1. CNA Fleet Safety Award and $500 Prize will be awarded to the ACCA contractor member company with the best fleet safety record in CNA’s ACCA Property-Casualty Program.

2. P & H Marketing Group Safety award of Excellence and $200 ACCA store gift certificate will be given to four ACCA contractor member companies with perfect safety records (i.e., no lost time accidents) for the reporting period. There is one award in each of the four reporting categories. The four categories are: 1. 0 to 60,000 hrs; 2. 60,001 to 100,000 hrs; 3. 100,001 to 200,000 hrs, and over 4. 200,001 hrs. 3. ACCA Safety Award of Merit and $100 ACCA store gift certificate will be given to four ACCA contractor member companies with the best lost-time incident rate record for the reporting period in each of the four reporting categories listed above.
