Associations for the Week: Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Eastern Missouri, Inc., Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union #562 and Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST).
Members of the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Eastern Missouri, Inc.andPlumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union #562again will provide heating system inspections to hundreds of disabled and needy homeowners in the St. Louis, MO area this fall during their 14th annual “Heat’s-On” program. The two organizations will donate time, resources, and materials valued at approximately $100 per house during this year’s program to be conducted on October 7. The 34-point inspection includes cleaning boilers, water heaters, and furnaces.
The Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) is soliciting papers for its 47th annual technical meeting, ESTECH 2001, to be held in Phoenix, AZ, April 22-25, 2001. For the first time, technical paper abstracts may be submitted online at the IEST website at www.iest.org. Further information is also available at the website.
