Testing has been completed, and UL and OPL listings have been received for the largest duct through-penetrations in the fire protection industry, says the company. Super Firetemp® Board is now listed for ducts up to 48 by 48 in. and Firetemp Wrap is listed for ducts up to 24 by 54 in. These firestop penetrations, through floors and walls, have been tested and listed for both F and T ratings of up to 2 hrs, the company says. The listings include the approved use of Firetemp CI intumescent caulk and Firetemp SI intumescent spray, in thicknesses of 1/4 to 1/2 in.
