The company has announced the approved use of its Super Firetemp® T-board and Firetemp Wrap for the fire protection of ventilation ducts and exhaust ducts. Manufacturers of hvac equipment can use these products to connect their equipment to ventilation and exhaust ducts, with zero clearance between product and combustibles, says the company. In the test series of these two-hour-rated fire protection systems, the products were evaluated for product stability, integrity, and insulation properties. Both passed all of the test requirements.
