Watsco Completes Acquisition of Jackson Supply Co.

MIAMI — Watsco Inc. has completed the acquisition of Jackson Supply Co., an HVAC distributor with $230 million in sales in 2025.
The deal expands Watsco’s footprint as the company maintains a market capitalization of $14.9 billion and a strong balance sheet with more cash than debt, a press release said.
The transaction adds 25 locations and approximately 5,000 contractor customers across Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Arizona to Watsco’s operations. Jackson Supply was founded in 1972 and has operated as an independent distributor in the HVAC industry for more than 50 years.
Jackson Supply will maintain its name, vendor relationships, go-to-market strategy, brand identity, and existing management team, led by Chairman James Durrett.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome Jackson Supply into the Watsco family,” said Albert H. Nahmad, Watsco’s chairman and CEO. “Jim Durrett and his exceptional team have built one of the most respected and entrepreneurial businesses in the HVAC distribution industry over more than five decades. We are humbled by their success and look forward to investing in their growth and supporting their ambitions for years to come.”
